Aren’t bullets dangerous?

Bullets can be dangerous but the ones you’ll find on this site are harmless. None of our items have any live primer or powder. They are completely inert and will not “go off”.

Can I take these items to the airport, school, train station, court, ect. ?

No. Even though all items on Mrballeng.com are inert why take the chance of having to explain to TSA “it’s just a keychain”. Any place weapons aren’t welcome, you should probably leave it at home.

Will brass tarnish? Can I keep my pendant on in the shower?

Like most metals brass will tarnish over time. Exposing brass to acids, oils, dirt, and so on, may speed up the process if left un-wiped. To keep brass shining longer, keep it clean. However if your brass becomes dull any metal polish will clean it right up. You can find metal polish any place cleaning products are sold.

Will brass turn my skin green?

If copper is left in direct contact with skin for a prolonged amount of time (several hours) it’s could leave a greenish mark on your skin. Since brass is a copper alloy it’s possible. I looked all around the internet for green skin being hazardous to your health but could not find anything about it. I’m no doctor but if you have any issues with brass don‘t wear it.

What about metal allergies?

If your sensitive to metals a common solution is to create a barrier between the metal and your skin. This can be as simple a t-shirt or even a thin coating of clear nail polish. Our earrings are made with solid silver backings so most folks should be fine as far as metal allergies go.

How do you clean brass?

Any metal polish will clean it right up. You can find metal polish any place cleaning products are sold.
